Run away, don't Walk, from Hyundai of Saint Augustine. They performed an update on my car's anti-theft system without my consent and when my car refused to start because of the anti-theft system update they refused to fix it and had me pay over $1,000 to fix my car. As I said, run away from this dealership!

Did not address my concerns about issues with electronics other than quick check of codes. Poor mpg just brushed off as you are just on the bottom of range. It is 10 mpg below the 2022 I had. Did not know the operation of paddle switches

I had the joy of working with Patrick at Hyundai of xx Augustine and had a wonderful new vehicle purchase for my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy Hybrid. Which I absolutely LOVE!!! Blows away my previous luxury Lexus and Cadillac SUVs. Truly the most amazing vehicle I have been in or driven! Patrick had excellent and prompt continuous communication with my husband via email for over a month regarding the exact vehicle I was looking for. He dedicated his time and service to us without even meeting us in person or knowing if he ever would. He also knew that we were not in a rush. This particular vehicle with my color preferences sell extremely fast and many time deposits are put down for one before it even arrives to the lot. Patrick was very accomodating as I had an oil change service at a nearby dealershp and arranged for me to be picked up in a Palisade to test drive on a Saturday. I shared that I am ready to move forward on this vehicle once the exact one I want is available. Patrick communicated with my husband via email on Sunday, his day off. He went into work early on Monday to do all that he could to find my new car. I got the exciting news that my new car was arriving Monday afternoon. The process went better than any other of my many vehicle purchases in the past. I can honesly say zero stress which is very rare with a vehicle purchase. My car needs warranty work, not good to drive with a bad catalytic converter, can cause excessive engine heat and damage, so I needed a loaner car since parts weren't in stock. The dealership was kind enough to get me a rental since they didn't have enough loaners. The rental was a Jeep Wrangler, try getting into this car at 75 yrs.old, not pretty. The dealership should either have more loaners, parts, or inquire what type of rental. Still the effort was there, and for that I rate an "A:.

Terrible customer service. VERY DIFFICULT to get a human to answer phone in Service. But it gets WORSE ! When I finally got a human on the line ( After FIVE tries) to answer a quick question about my flat tire. (as I'm on the side of the road changing in Cold weather), her response was, "All of our technicians are Busy". So I hung up and called another Dealer who I did NOT buy my Palisades from. They answered in 5 seconds put me through to a technician in 15 seconds and he answered my question and Saved the day! AVOID St Augustine Hyundai because they WONT be there when you Really need them. I won't be going back to them for Service again and Certainly wil NEVER buy another vehicle from them again

Even though my service was scheduled, an oil change 2 hours. After an hour of waiting, I wandered out on to the sales lot to browse as I was considering an upgrade. A sales associate approached me and asked me what I was interested in. I told him just looking while waiting for an oil change but could be in the market for a new car. He asked which car I was interested in. I choose the Santa Fe, He proceeded to fetch the key and he offered a test drive. I drove the car as far Route 2017 then asked if we can go to Walmart and he answered yes. On return, he went into the showroom while I went to the service center. As a was walking back on the car lot another salesman approached, asking in condescending tone what brought me to the dealership, and that I took the car to Walmart, I should take my groceries out of the car and leave. I told him that I did not take the car to Walmart, I asked if we could and I was told *yes), His response was that the employee who allowed me to drive to Walmart was as If I should know. He also said that a test drive should only last 5 minutes. I do not know the name of this employee, but if you care, Jacob can tell you who he is. Jacob provided top notch customer service, answering all questions I had, while the other person needs a remedial class in customer service. He did not know who he was talking to and he made assumptions based on my appearance. What he did not know is that I can buy any car on the lot for cash multiple times over. Did I see Toyota and Mazda next door>? Now about the oil change that initially brought me to the dealership. As always, the staff was very courteous and attentive. As always Amber was great communicating what other services my care needed
I had a appointment for a 4k oil change. It took two hours. It didn't need a multi point inspection . It only has 4000 miles on it. Why did I make an appointment?. Next time I will drop it off. Lesson learned

The customer service representative was professional and addressed my dilemma of needing front light beam replacements for my Santa Fe.. Unfortunately the solution to replace each of the two headlights was priced at $550.00 each which was extremely overpriced. He provided other possible suggestions but my shock chose to seek other alternatives elsewhere. While I will attempt to find replacements I am dismayed and disturbed by Hyundai for such a poor solution at such an exorbitant price. My opinion of the brand has plummeted based on the lack of reasonable cost replacements and ponder the validity of the Hyundai brand.
Your prices are outrageous. Never was I told you charge $175 an hour labor. Even in the bill the labor cost was hidden. I won't be back $460 for a tire sensor....never again!!!

Did not address my concerns about issues with electronics other than quick check of codes. Poor mpg just brushed off as you are just on the bottom of range. It is 10 mpg below the 2022 I had. Did not know the operation of paddle switches

My car needs warranty work, not good to drive with a bad catalytic converter, can cause excessive engine heat and damage, so I needed a loaner car since parts weren't in stock. The dealership was kind enough to get me a rental since they didn't have enough loaners. The rental was a Jeep Wrangler, try getting into this car at 75 yrs.old, not pretty. The dealership should either have more loaners, parts, or inquire what type of rental. Still the effort was there, and for that I rate an "A:.
On 2/10 I took my car in for service at Hyundai, expecting to have one issue resolved. However, when I picked it up, my car had new problems and was no longer drivable. It had poor acceleration, shaking, and a knocking noise under the hood. I immediately voiced my concerns, emailing and leaving a review on 2/20. After nearly a month, someone finally came to inspect the vehicle on 3/19. What they found was shocking—cylinders 2 and 3 weren’t even in the spark plugs, and the screws were left inside the driver’s side door. Cylinder 4 was completely disconnected. These careless mistakes explained the severe new issues. It’s disappointing that a dealership can’t be trusted to perform basic repairs without the fear of them intentionally sabotaging your vehicle to charge more money. Mr. DiFeo even sent a generic email stating, “Per Joe’s email below, the inspection wouldn’t have affected the drivability of the vehicle.” Meanwhile, Hyundai never even put my car back together properly. This is not just bad service—it’s a serious safety hazard.

Still waiting for a phone call from dealer manager for 4 days now I was told lease mileage a year was 12000when I got home I read papers a d it said 10000 allowed a year was never told that, my sales man said 12000. Bad customer service.

I had the joy of working with Patrick at Hyundai of xx Augustine and had a wonderful new vehicle purchase for my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy Hybrid. Which I absolutely LOVE!!! Blows away my previous luxury Lexus and Cadillac SUVs. Truly the most amazing vehicle I have been in or driven! Patrick had excellent and prompt continuous communication with my husband via email for over a month regarding the exact vehicle I was looking for. He dedicated his time and service to us without even meeting us in person or knowing if he ever would. He also knew that we were not in a rush. This particular vehicle with my color preferences sell extremely fast and many time deposits are put down for one before it even arrives to the lot. Patrick was very accomodating as I had an oil change service at a nearby dealershp and arranged for me to be picked up in a Palisade to test drive on a Saturday. I shared that I am ready to move forward on this vehicle once the exact one I want is available. Patrick communicated with my husband via email on Sunday, his day off. He went into work early on Monday to do all that he could to find my new car. I got the exciting news that my new car was arriving Monday afternoon. The process went better than any other of my many vehicle purchases in the past. I can honesly say zero stress which is very rare with a vehicle purchase. They appraised my vehicle quickly and even offered me more for my trade in than Carmax so I was able to save significantly on the sales tax and make my trade there with Hyundai and not have to drive to Jacksonville. The paperwork portion and financing went extremely well and not pushy for add ons. They answered my questions and helped me decide what is best for me and let me make the decision. I highly recommend Hyundai of xx Augustine and highly recommend Patrick to work with! Also a shout out to Jake who picked me up in the Palisade while Patrick was wrapping up a delivery. This dealership, and Leon in particular, is special, and this is coming from someone who is generally skeptical of dealerships and car salesmen in general! I’ve bought a couple of cars in my time, and had done my research ahead of time. We went to nearly every dealership in the region over a couple of weeks’ time, and the experience we had here was night and day compared to the others. From Leon to Almir to Jason to Mike, we were able to glean that this place was different. Throughout the sales process, we felt listened to, cared for, and treated with integrity and transparency — something very rare in today’s world. We were given a great deal and the experience after that was almost just as impressive — from financial approval to the car detail to the handoff of the car, it was an exceptional experience that included many laughs.
