Hyundai of St. Augustine is talking about the Southern Automotive Media Association's (SAMA) "Utility Vehicle of the Show" award. Presented by a host of highly-revered automotive journalists, the award is one of three given annually by SAMA at the Miami International Auto show. This year, however, marks the first time the nod was given to the Santa Fe utility vehicle's…

The Dark Knight Crashes a Hyundai i30 Review

Overseas, the 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring five-door hatchback is known as the i30, and it's quite popular in London specifically. In fact, it's so well received there that it attracted the attention of Gotham City's most famous superhero, who recently required a closer look.

In truth, the Caped Crusader in Rory Reid's video review of the Hyundai i30 isn't the real Bruce Wayne (yes, we're aware he's a comic book character). Rather, he's a comedic personality from Canada known as the Toronto Batman.

It isn't long before Reid begins his review…

New 2013 Hyundai Genesis Adds Navigation Package

We here at Hyundai of St. Augustine are excited for the new 2013 Hyundai Genesis, which is well known for its premium luxury features. For the 2013 model year the powertrain options have been simplified. Specifically, Hyundai is making its 5.0-liter, direct-injected, Tau V8 engine exclusive to the Genesis R-Spec. Meanwhile, the previous 4.6-liter V8 engine has been discontinued. This leaves the 2013 Genesis with one engine option: a 3.8-liter V6 that's available in three equipment configurations.  But that's not all.

The  the 2013 Genesis also adds an all-new "Ultimate Navigation Package" to the mix…

They've been…

A Look Back at the History of Hyundai

It may not always happen, but sometimes individuals (and companies) achieve their dreams. For South Korean auto brand Hyundai, the journey was long and difficult when it came to reaching its North American goals, but success has been attained. Let's take a look back at the persistent brand's journey over the years.

Hyundai first entered the North American market in 1986 with one model, the Hyundai Excel, a vehicle that the brand would later somewhat regret, as it was plagued with recalls and reliability issues, though it was very popular at its time of release. Despite this faulty…
