What is the Hyundai XCIENT?

So, what exactly is the Hyundai XCIENT? This is the first-ever heavy-duty fuel cell truck. The only one in the world, this model breaks through the competition and provides a more eco-friendly option to drivers who are looking for a heavy-duty non-diesel truck.

This heavy-duty eco-friendly truck is equipped with a day cab and has an estimated driving range of about 400km per charge. So, not too shabby for a truck that can haul heavy cargo! You can refuel this vehicle in about 8-20 minutes.

With the Hyundai brand turning its sights towards eco-friendly options, we can hope other brands will do the same. Who knows what the future has in store, but this XCIENT fuel-cell truck is a good step in the right direction!

Will the Hyundai fuel cell truck come to the United States?

Currently, we are unaware of any plans for the Hyundai fuel cell truck to cross the pond over into the United States. Currently, it’s heading for Europe – Switzerland, to be exact, so if you really want to see it in action, you can, but if you’re living in the States and have no plans to leave, then you probably won’t see this model for some time.

Still, the brand has a goal of 1,600 models to be produced and sold by the year 2025, so you’ll probably hear more about this vehicle in the years to come.

Even so, we are still more than willing to tell you more about it, so if you have any questions about the Hyundai XCIENT or any other Hyundai model, then we encourage you to get in touch with your friendly Carter County Hyundai. We look forward to hearing from you!
