As a widow I had never purchased a vehicle on my own and took my son for moral support. It turns out I didn’t need him there, even though I was glad he came. Leon treated me like a sister. He showed me exactly what I wanted to see and explained everything I questioned. The financial end was just as pleasing. I could not have been happier with the ease in purchasing my 2023 Santa Cruz. Well I have never had such great communication from any sales person like I did with Leon! He kept me informed every step of our process, sent pictures, and worked with us via text and email as we are from out of town. Once we were at the dealership to finalize paperwork our experience was quick and smooth. We weren't done with great service then. We had a wonderful surprise with the vehicle having a detail job and the mechanic check things out! Thanks to Leon for the best service and commitment to us. I truly felt valued as a customer. You will not go wrong with Leon or this Hyundai dealership. We will be recommending both and coming back in the future.

Leon is awesome! We've bought 6 cars from Hyundai of St. Augustine, and I think the last 5 from him. He's not just interested in making a sale, but interested in finding the right sale for you! We have pointed out a few cars in the past that he said he didn't even want to show us (either due to knowing us or because he wasn't a fan of the make/model), and we love the honesty! He's also fun and entertaining and who doesn't want that when shopping for a car? He's always done right by us!!

My lease ended four months ago and due to the chip shortage I was unable to get the car I wanted. Andrew went above and beyond to get my car. During the entire process Andrew, Jimmy and Randy kept me informed weekly as to the progress being made to obtain the car of my choice. I finally received it on October 6th and all I can say is that it was worth the wait.

George Aflleje was our awesome salesman. We called and told him what we wanted and where we needed to be number wise- and he got us there before we even stepped foot on the lot. Once we got there to do paperwork, George was very hospitable and made us feel like we had been friends for 30 years. We had a great experience at Hyundai of St. Augustine thanks to George. Couldn’t be happier with my 2023 Hyundai Tucson and wonderful buying experience. I knew St. Augustine Hyundai was different in the fall when George gave me a run down of all the features of the Limited trim, and there are many, and then just tossed me the keys and let my husband and I take it for a spin. I was impressed with how chill this dealership was compared to others where I had to fill out my info, let them make a copy of my drivers license, etc. We weren’t quite ready to buy since it was my first time in a Hyundai following over 20 yrs of nothing but Hondas. After months of research and a few emails and texts back and forth with George, I was given a fair amount for my trade and 0% interest from Hyundai. The whole deal took 24 hrs. Paperwork was ready when we got there and Eddie, the finance manager was as chill and easy to work with as George. I can’t recommend this dealership highly enough and I’m confident any problems arise, the team at St. Augustine will be there to help. LOVE the 23’ Tucson❤️ Debbie Crupi

Can't Beat Hyundai of St Augustine
Recently purchased a new 2020 Sonata SEL from Hyundai of St Augustine. This is not my first new car purchase from this dealership but I came back, Why? When you purchase a new car I think it is important that you feel you were treated fairly, got a fair deal and were not pressured at the final closing to purchase additional items like extended warranty, paint sealer or windshield/upholstery treatment. After the purchase you expect the service department to be straight with you and not try to pressure you to perform service that is beyond the warranty requirements and all at a competitive price. The years that passed after my earlier new car purchase from Hyundai of St Augustine I had ample opportunity yo see first hand how the Service Department operated and have always been treated with great professionalism and I don't get suspicious if they tell me the car needs something because they have earned my trust. I am getting up in years and have purchased many new cars in different cities and states and Hyundai of St Augustine is the first dealership I have encountered that I would recommend to my family members and friends. That is why I came back.

Ease of buying a new car
Everything was great with no hard sell and no manager swooping in to finalize a dealer. The test drive was great and they let me drive the car as long as I wanted. The sales associate was laid back. Financing was straight forward and quite fast. No hard sell!

Trying not to sound too gushy, but as a Canadian who has had most of my warranty work on my 2014 Santa Fe XL done at your dealership, I have really appreciated the stellar service received at Hyundai of St Augustine. Over the years, Cheryl as a service consultant, has had a real “what can we do to make this work for you” attitude, cheerfully offered. This is the third time we have purchased a vehicle through Hyundai of St Augustine. Each time has been a pleasure and they have been very accommodating. I always use the same salesman, Randy Selph, who is wonderful, polite, kind and not pushy in any way. He really does want the best deal for his customers and will go to bat for them with financing. We always leave there feeling like we got a good deal, and their service department is always friendly and does a great job. We have zero complaints about this dealership and all its departments, and would recommend doing business with them.

A certified vehicle, a 2015 Hyundai Veloseter with mileage of 20,581 vin# KMHTC6AD8FU222744 with a warranty until 7/2/2020 from Hyundai of St. Augustine, Fl. On 3/21/19 I brought the car into Hyundai of St. Augustine for problems with the steering. a clicking problem when steering wheel turns to the left and right. I believe it was a bad coupler because of all the call backs with Hyundai on steering problems. On April 5th I talked to the service Mgr, about the same problem I had before only now it is three times worse than it was. When you go 60 miles an hour and up the car is uncontrollable. It truly is a safety hazard and now we don't drive it. Today the car has 29,164 miles on it and the service Mgr. said it was out of warranty. I recently purchased my 4th Hyundai from this dealer. The entire transaction, which included negotiated trade and financing was completed via a few emails with the owner Andrew DiFeo. I was give a fair trade value and a fair out the door price for a new 2023 Sonata. The process couldn’t have been simpler. Once we had agreed in everything he handed me off to Ava Hamilton to process the sale. Ava had everything ready via electronic signatures and within hours was ready to deliver the car and take away my trade 2 hours away from the dealership. Overall this was a great experience all around and an easy and stress free way to manage a large purchase like this. Highly recommend this dealer. HSA treats you right!

Ava is the person you want when it comes to purchasing a vehicle! She is a woman on a mission when it comes to ANYTHING that needs done throughout the process. There was a wheel lug nut that required a special key and within seconds she was on it and already making sure our concerns were brought to ease, but after double checking we just didn’t see it was in the backseat the whole time! Needless to say any concern we would have had Ava was on the case with an expedited solution!

I had a great buying experience with Ava Hamilton. I contacted her first back in February about a order for a new Palisade Calligraphy. At that time Hyundai of St. Augustine was the only dealership in the greater Jax area to not charge any ridiculous dealer mark ups, they didn't even ask for a down payment. Due to the the backlog and model change and what not they never received my ordered vehicle. But then I was May and I needed a new car before August. So once I was willing to change the color they were able to find me a Calligraphy real quick. Ava stayed on top of everything and since I didn't finance nor did I have a trade in, the pick up process went by real quick. Ava explained the car in detail to me and they even reimbursed me some money, since the final sales amount was a bit lower than my check. She stayed in touch afterwards to see how the cat is doing. Overall the best car buying experience I ever had. A shame I can't use them for service since I'm living too far away. You will not be disappointed dealing with Ava at Hyundai in St. Augustine

If it was my car I would have returned it. 23' Elantra with 2400 miles, TPMS light goes on, have my daughter bring the car to the dealer, 3 months old, under warranty you THINK, nope. Claims my daughter hit a pothole or curb causing the damage to the sensor and the tire. Being only 18 and it's her first car, she authorizes the repairs, over $300. It gets better, they wash her car, now I'm there and I notice a mark on the car. He claims that it was there, I say it wasn't, so he says we have pictures. Guess what WASN'T there, before THEY took it. I told him it's going to cost the exact same price he charged my daughter to have her car fix. Waiting for them to get back to me.

The sales department is awesome but the service department is so horrible it makes me not want to buy another Hyundai. I wouldn’t return to the service department had I not pre-paid for the service when I purchased my vehicle. The last few times there my wife was treated so rude and disrespectful that I had to come to the dealership to get straightened out. Not sure if the service advisor (Danny) is just a bully to women but my wife(or any women) should be able to get a simple oil change (that is pre-paid) without having to get their husband or a manager (that is condescending and unhelpful) involved.
