Finding a car with an extremely bold design at a very fair price is not a common occurance. That is exactly what drivers will get to experience with the new Hyundai Veloster. The Veloster is not quite a coupe, sedan, or hatchback, but is a lovely combination of all three car styles. With two sedan-like doors on its passenger side and one, coupe-like door on its driver's side, the Veloster is a three-door one of a kind.
Though the four-passenger 2012 Hyundai Veloster only comes in one base trim, its standard and optional offerings and its chic style certainly make up for the lack of model choices. The Veloster is built on a heavily-modified Hyundai Elantra platform and first appeared for the 2012 model year.
If you've had the pleasure of test driving the current Veloster, but you desired a bit more power from the vehicle, you'll be happy to hear that a new Hyundai Veloster Turbo version will be debuting later this summer and will retail for only $1,600 more than the base model, at $19,675. The Turbo will add 63 horsepower for a totol of 201 hp, leather trim, and heated seats.
The 2012 Veloster is available at Hyundai of St. Augustine, conveniently located at 2898 US Highway 1, St. Augustine, FL now, so be sure to stop by and check it out! If you'd rather have a little more power, a twin-scroll turbocharged 4 engine will be available for the Veloster by mid to late summer, so be sure to check our new new Hyundai inventory often.
